Organic Ant Killer

I need a good home-made, non-toxic, organic ant killer for my room, please help?

I come upstairs to my little room, start playing on the computer. Maybe my room needs some light, so I pull up the blinds and what do I see? About 20-30 ants no doubt!

What is a good ant killer that is natural, organic, and made of common household items?
I cant really go anywhere today, I dont think we have that here either....

It depends on if they are protein eaters or sweet eaters. I had fire ants which are protein eaters getting into my bed at night and I'm allergic to them. I don't beleive in killing things either but when my health is at stake it just isn't realistic to catch all the ants and put them outside. I found through trial and error that they hate chili peppers, the hotter the better. I sprinkled some ceyenne pepper on the window sill and haven't seen an ant since. The sweet ants can be killed with instant grits. They take it home and when they share a meal with their buddies the grits swell when they get wet in the ant's stomach and they pop. I've heard the boric solution but haven't used it yet. Now I've got them in my vegatable garden so bad that I can't weed anymore so I'm calling a professional ecofriendly exterminator.
