pest damage to my hamster?

I am moving to an apartment that has a pest control spray around all the boards and everything. Will this harm the hamster in the apartment. The spray must kill the mice so I was wondering does the animal have to touch or is the air spray or something that hurt a hamster. Thanks They will do a week before entering and I could not leave her in a group of friends after the fact that some may be safe for her to be there?
