Preventic tick collar?

I bought a Preventic tick collar for my dog today and assistant veterinarian said the collar for any size dog and when I got to home I realized that the box says the dogs over 60 pounds and is less than 20 pounds have anyone else had this problem? If so what did and what he did the vet said to do? I would like to use on the job that we're having a problem with the tick very bad but do not want to harm her in any way. Thanks in advance!

If it says 60 and your dog is only 20 i have to wait until tomorrow and call the vet. I can say from experience tick collars do not work very well. you should try to spray your house and make sure it is on monthly medication for fleas and ticks
