Suggestions on getting rid of Roach Infestation?

I have a girlfriend who lives in a house with her boyfriend and his family and they seem to have a pretty bad roach infestation problem. Not to mention they live in 1/4 million dollar house. She doesn't have the money to pay for an exterminator, and his parents might be a bit too cheap to get one either. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them? Can you recommend a good spray or repellent?

my first advice is to call a pro. I had a similar problem when we moved into a rental property. After the pro does his thing just make sure to keep everything very clean. u could also try some of those roach motel things. thats what worked for us. good luck!
